Being really active on Instagram makes me lose interest in posting on this blog. But I figure out while teaching type this week, that it is really useful and a different tool to the "daily use" of Instagram. Following the motto "Better done than perfect" I will try to post more here, even short and mixed posts, to not lose track of what I see and what inspires me. I get a lot of submissions for the blog, and here is a great one I just get.  Established by Monica Ong, Proxima Vera is a micro-press specializing in visual poetry broadsides, literary art objects, and digital editions. Distinct in design and playful innovation, these literary works reside within distinguished institutions and private collections worldwide. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today I see a post by Pavel Emelyanov and I figure out I did not check his work for too long... 5 years! I would simply post all his projects! You can found past projects here (under Eskimo), here, here and there... He now works with/at Comence and here is their fonts collection: the result of three years collaboration between Comence studio and TypeType Foundry. Together they created and released three sans serif font families (TT Norms Pro, TT Commons & TT Hoves).
